2011 Teams-of-4 Competition

1. This competition will be a quadruple round-robin, i.e. 4 x 12 boards against each team;
2. The charge for each team is R100 at outset, and R30 per player on each play-date;
3. Prize money = R150 for 1st place, and R150 for 1st place in the Handicaps (2nd if same team wins both departments);
4. Masterpoints will be awarded;
5. Matches will be 12 boards in length, with two matches per session played. This will be played over 4 dates/sessions;
6. Handicaps for each team will be allocated according to your Pairs ranking as at the end of the previous year;
7. This event is restricted to club members. Any new member added will be allocated a default ladder score of 50%;
8. A maximum of 2 substitutes shall be allowed per team per match, and the substitutes have to be club members (handicap for that match will be adjusted);
9. A list of  Teams for this event, a substitute list, as well as a Roster will be made available to each Captain;
10. It is desired that this league be kept very friendly, but highly competitive.  "Enjoyment" is the key-word.  Please report any infringement of   "Zero Tolerance"   behaviour;
11. May the best team win!
